Gaming Concession

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining sealed proposals (Proposal) from qualified and experienced operators (Respondents) to develop, manage, operate, and maintain the gaming concession program (Gaming Concession) at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO, or Airport).   This opportunity is driven by the expiration of the current Gaming Concession agreement and the ongoing redevelopment of the Airport under the MoreRNO capital program, as further described in Section 2.2, MoreRNO Infrastructure Program.  RTAA seeks Respondents capable of delivering a high-quality Gaming Concession that enhances the passenger experience, reflects the Reno-Tahoe region's unique gaming identity, incorporates multiple gaming manufacturers, and maximizes long-term revenue performance through innovation, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.   The Gaming Concession includes the right to operate slot machines within designated Airport locations, including reconfigured gaming locations in the existing pre-security terminal and new gaming locations within the replacement concourses developed as part of the phased MoreRNO program.  The new Gaming Concession will be implemented in phases as the MoreRNO program construction progresses.  Additional information regarding the existing operations, proposed gaming locations, and phased implementation is provided in Section 3, Description of Business Opportunity.   If awarded, a Nonexclusive Gaming Concession Lease (Agreement) will be effective on the date the Agreement is approved by the RTAA Board of Trustees, signed by all required parties, and filed with the Director of Contracts & Procurement.  The development and phased openings outlined in this RFP are subject to change based on MoreRNO construction phasing.   As is more fully explained in Section 12, Evaluation & Award Process, an award, if made, will be made to the best overall Respondent whose Proposal is most advantageous to the RTAA, taking into consideration the evaluation criteria set forth in this RFP.  The RTAA reserves the right to not award an Agreement as the issuance of this RFP does not guarantee any subsequent award.  Furthermore, the RTAA reserves the right to negotiate additional services and/or modify the Lease as deemed necessary to meet the needs of the Airport.   A non-mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, commencing promptly at 2:30 PM [PDT], at 2001 E.
