ShopRite-Bistro Alteration at Somerset County ESC

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Somerset County Educational Services Commission for the ShopRite-Bistro Alteration project. Bids will be accepted until 2:30 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the School District Board Office located at 991 US-22 #301, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. The bids must be submitted in person, by mail, or delivery service, and will not be accepted via facsimile or electronic transmission. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that their bid is delivered on time. Bids must be sealed and the outer envelope clearly marked with the project name. The bidding documents have been prepared by Parette Somjen Architects L.L.C. and can be obtained by emailing Mr. Kenneth Mieles at kmieles@planetpsa.com starting from Friday, August 21, 2026. The documents will not be mailed or available for pickup; they can only be downloaded from a secure FTP website. There is no document fee. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Main Office of the School. Attendance is highly recommended. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury in specific categories. Bids must include a Certificate of Prequalification and an affidavit regarding uncompleted contracts. Bidders must also comply with various state laws and submit required documentation with their bids. The successful bidder will be required to provide bid security and additional bonds as specified. The Board reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids.
