Kitchen Remodel at the Center for Sustainability and Innovation Building

Contractors are invited to submit an offer for the Kitchen Remodel at the Center for Sustainability and Innovation Building (CSI Building) at Richland Community College in Decatur, Illinois. Offers will be received electronically via E Bid before 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on September 8, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via Google Meet at that time. The project consists of the Kitchen Remodel at the Center for Sustainability and Innovation Building (CSI Building) at Richland Community College. The project includes new finishes, new kitchen equipment, and associated plumbing, Ventilating, and Electrical Work. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all Work. Printed documents may be obtained at cost from Decatur Blueprint, (217) 423-7589. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
