Public Auction of Real Estate

The Borough of Lindenwold is offering the property located at 2219 Brighton Avenue, Block 291, Lot 1.01, for sale at an open public auction. This property has been deemed no longer necessary for public use. The auction will be conducted through sealed bids, which must clearly identify the property by its street address and block and lot numbers. Bids must be submitted by Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. at the Municipal Building, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders can either hand-deliver their bids or send them via certified mail to the Business Administrator at the Municipal Building. Each bid must include the name and address of the bidder, an email address and phone number, and the specific bid price. Bids that offer a range of prices will be rejected. The proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope no larger than 9x12 inches, addressed to the Lindenwold Business Administrator, with specific references to the property and bid submission. The property will be sold subject to a minimum price of $30,000.00, and the sale is contingent upon the highest bid being accepted. The successful bidder will be required to pay a deposit of 10% of the bid price upon acceptance. Closing will occur no later than 30 days after the governing body's approval of the sale. The property is sold 'as is' and the Borough makes no warranties regarding the condition or title of the property.
