System-Wide Telecom Consultant Services - Dark Fiber Leasing

The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) is interested in the continued expansion of its dark fiber enterprise initiative across all of its five Hudson Valley facilities, including the Bear Mountain, Newburgh-Beacon, Mid-Hudson, Kingston-Rhinecliff and Rip Van Winkle Bridges. NYSBA is soliciting cost proposals from qualified, professional telecom consultants to help originate and negotiate dark fiber lease agreements, band width data services and research and secure new customer opportunities. The successful proposer shall provide engineering and consulting services in regard to the develpment and advancement of NYSBA's System-Wide Dark Fiber System. Engineering and consulting services may include, but are not limited to, contacting companies, arranging necessary meetings and conducting on-going negotiations with Lessees in an effort to secure fiber leases.  Minimum qualifications: Ten+ years telecom, with a strong knowledge of telecom business finance, negotiations, fiber implementation strategies and general industry needs.
