Avenue of the Oaks Tank 2 Tank Coating Project

The project generally consists of spot repair and overcoat painting of the exterior paint system and the complete interior relining of the Ave of the Oaks Tank 2. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of all existing linings from the tank interior; repair of all exterior paint through spot repairing and overcoating with an epoxy and urethane paint system, including power tool cleaning and high-pressure water cleaning; containment and collection of debris generated during surface preparation, cleaning, and coating operations, together with the characterization, packaging, handling, removal, transportation, and lawful disposal of all waste generated by the Project in accordance with applicable federal, state and local requirements; apply a polyurethan caulking to the crevice between the tank and concrete ring wall; cleaning and disinfection of the tank after the manufacturer’s recommended cure of the interior lining; and all associated work (Work) as indicated in the Contract Documents
