Ridge Route Tank Relining Project

The project generally consists of relining of the Ridge Route Tank. The work includes, but is not limited to, surface preparation and application of protective coatings to all specified interior surfaces of the tank structure, including all attachments, appurtenances, and accessories; removal of all existing interior linings above the elevation of the overflow, columns and tank bottom while preserving and incorporating much of the tank shell with the application of an NSF ANSI Standard 61 certified immersion grade liner; removal and disposal of a corroded interior ladder with a Saf-T-Climb device and its replacement with a new fiberglass unit, complete with safety climb device; a limited amount of grinding of sharp edges that have resulted from corrosion; furnish and install a new welded steel ring halo; the removal and replacement of up to 5 roof structure rafters that have been consumed by corrosion; limited amount of weld repairs to deteriorated roof areas welds; and all associated work (Work) as indicated in the Contract Documents
