Refuse and Recyclable Collection

Paradise Township in York County, PA is seeking bids for the collection and disposal of refuse and recyclables. Sealed bids will be accepted at the office of CGA Law Firm, located at 135 N. George St., York, PA 17401, until 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened and read at that time. The contract for the work will be awarded during the regular meeting of the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors on September 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. or a later date. Bids must be clearly marked “BIDS FOR REFUSE COLLECTION FOR PARADISE TOWNSHIP, Attn: CGA Law Firm” on the outside of the envelope.Bid forms and specifications can be obtained from the Paradise Township Office, and interested parties may also contact via telephone or email at paratwp@comcast.net. All bids must include a certified or cashier's check, letter of credit, or bid bond with corporate surety of $500 made payable to Paradise Township. The successful bidder will need to provide a performance bond equivalent to the pro-rated price for the first year within 10 days after the award. The Paradise Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities and to reject any and all bids. No contractor may withdraw their bid for a period of 45 days.
