AscendRural Innovation Challenge

AscendRural, a program of Sourcewell, is seeking proposals for the AscendRural Innovation Challenge: Bridging Distance to Rural Care & Services. The goal is to develop a procurement solution that will be utilized by Sourcewell Participating Entities. This solicitation invites innovative technology-enabled solutions aimed at mitigating the challenges posed by distance on rural communities' access to healthcare, services, and essential goods. Proposals should focus on one or more of the following five problem areas: transportation access and coordination; local access to primary, specialty, and oral care; managing chronic conditions; last-mile delivery of essentials; and enhancing the business of rural access.Proposals must be submitted through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal, which can be accessed at [https://proportal.sourcewell-mn.gov]. Only those proposals submitted via this portal will be reviewed. The deadline for submission is October 6, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. Central Time. Late submissions will not be accepted.
