FB Modified Asphalt Overlay

Delaware Township is seeking sealed bids for the FB Modified asphalt overlay project at 1960 8th Street Drive, PO Box 203 Watsontown, PA 17777. Bids must be submitted by September 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project involves approximately 13,800 SY of FB Modified Overlay in two courses, including a 2" leveling course and a final 2" wearing course, with an Add Alternate Bid of 39,200 SY of similar work. The project also includes paving, traffic control, and site restoration as per the Technical Specifications. All work must comply with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) standards. Bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified. Copies of the Contract Documents can be obtained by depositing $150.00 with R K Webster, LLC at 2445 Quaker Hill Rd., Cogan Station, PA 17728 for each set. A certified check or bank draft payable to Delaware Township or a satisfactory Bid Bond of 10% of the total bid must accompany each bid. Bidders must include a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit. The project has specific goals for female and minority participation, and bidders must submit evidence of outreach to minority and women business enterprises. Compliance with the Buy America, Build America Act is required. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review, and Delaware Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
