Sardinia Dr Lift Station #32 Emergency Generator Project

A. Work Included: Install a new propane-powered emergency generator and automatic transfer switch for Lift Station 32 on Sardinia Drive in Eustis, FL. The existing electrical feed will need to be modified to include the new emergency generator wiring and automatic transfer switch. The major proposed work under this Contract includes: 1. Installation of: a. Installation of concrete pad for new emergency generator; b. New 80 kW emergency generator; c. New automatic transfer switch; d. Underground and exposed conduit and wire for electrical and control systems; e. Installation of concrete pad for new propane tank; f. Furnish and install new 1,000-gallon propane tank with Dry-type Electric vaporizer, as indicated and specified. g. Propane service line from the new propane tank to the new emergency generator; h. Connection of Generator Run signal to existing Citek control system; i. Installation of concrete pad for generator; j. Other appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 2. Demolition of: a. Existing electrical connections to the existing control panel; b. Electrical conduit and wire, as indicated on the Drawings; 3. Renovation of: a. Other removals/demolitions as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 4. Maintenance of flow and treatment processes as detailed in Part 3 of this section. 5. Remove and/or relocate equipment as indicated on the Drawings. B. Related Work Specified Elsewhere: 1. Coordination: Section 01050 2. Construction Schedules: Section 01310. C. Removals, Relocations and Rearrangements 1. Examine the existing site for the work of all trades which will influence the cost of the work under the bid. This work shall include removals, relocations and rearrangements which may interfere with, disturb or complicate the performance of the work under the bid involving systems, equipment and related service lines, which shall continue to be utilized as part of the finished project. The Contractor is responsible for all coordination in this regard. 2. Provide in the bid a sufficient amount to include all removals, relocations, rearrangements and reconnections herein specified, necessary or required to provide approved operation and coordination of the combined new and existing systems and equipment
