Leon Housing Water Consolidation Project

1. The project consists of installing approximately 7,390 linear feet of 12-inch diameter water main pipe with restrained joints, including valves, fittings, polyethylene encasement, testing, disinfection, clearing and grubbing, excavation, imported sand, backfill and compaction of backfill, potholing all utility crossings, surface restoration and all necessary appurtenances complete and in place. The pipeline work also includes: excavation of jacking and receiving pits, shoring of trenches and pits as required, pipe jacking operations, and all related backfill and compaction as indicated in the Contract Documents.2. Villa De Josue MHP, Leon Housing, Duran’s Farms, and Oscar Cruz MHP remove connection to existing potable water system well and connect to the public water system and associated onsite work as indicated in the Contract Documents.3. Contractor shall coordinate with CVWD Staff and other Contractor involved with the installation of the 12-inch diameter mainline to the existing 30-inch diameter line at the intersection of Airport Blvd. and Fillmore Street at Station 169+97.45 (Construction Drawing No. 49642).4. Work shall also include protecting in place or removing and replacing all existing utilities and private and public improvements, including, but not limited to, curbs, gutters, concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, landscaping, landscaping irrigation facilities, traffic striping, power poles, guy wires, street lights, signs, fences, and walls.
