Low Voltage Bus Duct Replacement - Twenty-Three (23) Mnr Substations

MTA Metro-North Railroad is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish replacement low-voltage AC bus duct systems for twenty-three (23) Metro-North substations. The work includes field measurements, engineering/design coordination, fabrication of custom bus duct assemblies, factory acceptance testing, delivery, contractor testing, and associated components required to ensure compatibility with existing substation conditions. Installation of the bus ducts will be performed by Metro-North forces. The contract has an anticipated period of performance of twenty-seven (27) months. Bidders must meet all qualification, safety, insurance, bonding, and other requirements identified in the solicitation documents. Site access will require compliance with Metro-North safety requirements. Subcontracting is permitted in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation and Contract Documents. Bidders remain responsible for the performance of all work performed by their subcontractors. Joint ventures may participate subject to the applicable requirements of the solicitation. Award, if made, will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in accordance with the solicitation requirements.
