City Wide Multi-Use Path Maintenance 2026

The City of Rockford is seeking bids for the maintenance of city-wide multi-use paths for the year 2026. Bids will be accepted until 11:00 a.m., local time, on September 04, 2026, at the office of the Central Services Manager located in the City Hall Building at 425 East State Street, Rockford, Illinois 61104. All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Bidders must ensure their submissions are delivered before the specified opening time and date; late submissions will be refused. Bid documents can be obtained via email at larry.graham@rockfordil.gov, through the City’s website at https://rockfordil.gov/bids, or in person at the office of the Central Services Manager. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid name and number. Each bidder is required to include specified compliance information with their bid, adhering to the laws of the State of Illinois regarding Fair Employment Practices and the City of Rockford's Ordinance on Equal Employment and Business Opportunity. Bids that do not include the necessary compliance items will not be read or considered. Furthermore, all contracts for public works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The City of Rockford reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
