Fallston Town Park

Sealed bids are being requested for the provision of necessary materials and construction for the Fallston Town Park project. The work includes the construction of a parking lot and multi-use trail, along with associated tasks such as grading, paving, drainage, and erosion control.A public opening of the bids will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Town of Fallston, located at 832 E. Stagecoach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090.Bidders must submit a cash deposit or certified check, or a Bid Bond as specified in the bidding documents. The bid bond must equal five percent of the total bid amount. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract or provide the required bonds within ten days of receiving the notice of award, the deposit will be retained by the Owner.All bidders must be prequalified by NCDOT as a Prequalified Bidder or PO Prime for their discipline and must comply with North Carolina's licensing requirements. Subcontractors must also be prequalified by NCDOT before starting work. The application for prequalification can be found online at the NCDOT website.Bidders are advised to obtain project bid documents only from the specified source. The Owner and Engineer will not be responsible for any documents obtained from other sources. Bidders must review all addenda and acknowledge them on the provided form.Bids must comply with Section 102 of the 2024 Standard Specifications, and contract awards will follow Section 103 of the same specifications.
