World Language Supplemental Resources

Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is requesting sealed proposals from experienced and qualified Offerors/Proposers to provide enhancement to World Language instruction by providing students with access to authentic, up-to-date video content paired with standards-aligned instructional activities. This initiative addresses the current reliance on outdated Carnegie Learning video resources, which do not consistently reflect natural, real-world language use or provide sufficient comprehensible input and scaffolding to support all learners. The desired outcomes of this project include increased student engagement and proficiency through exposure to authentic speech, improved access to scaffolded instructional materials that support comprehension across proficiency levels, and the establishment of equitable, district-wide access to high-quality supplementary resources for all middle and high school World Language teachers and students. CCPS reserves the right to award one (1) or multiple separate contracts, if in the best interest of CCPS.
