Ione Sewer Replacement & Lining Project

INVITATION TO BID Town of Ione Ione Sewer Replacement & Lining Project Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Town of Ione until 1:00 PM on September 2, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bid proposals may be sent by mail, or hand delivered, to the Town Clerk at the Town of Ione, PO Box 498, Ione, WA 99139, prior to the opening. The envelope shall be plainly marked with “SEALED BID for the Town of Ione – Ione Sewer Replacement & Lining Project” and shall clearly indicate the name and address of the bidder. The bid opening will take place at the Ione Municipal Building, 208 E Blackwell Street, Ione, WA 99139. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Brief Description of Work: This Contract provides for the improvement of the Sanitary Sewer collection system throughout the town.  Work includes constructing 1,740 linear feet of sanitary Sewer Main Replacement, 4,120 linear feet of Sanitary Sewer Main Lining, replacement of 22 Manholes, CCTV investigation, 700 square yards of pavement repair, landscape restoration, traffic control, and other miscellaneous work. Estimated Cost of Project: $2,000,000 Bids must be completed on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the BID PROPOSAL.  The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, minor defects, or to reject any or all bids. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the same time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Town of Ione. Availability of Bidding Documents: Bidders may obtain project documents at the TD&H Engineering online plan room at www.tdhplanroom.com .  Bidders may download digital documents at no cost and obtain printed documents, at Bidders Expense, by choosing the “Order” option. Posted on this plan room under the “Plan Holders” tab is an official list of locations where documents may be examined. Any questions regarding this plan room, shall be directed to plan room administration at 509-624-2985 or print@standardprintworks.com . Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents:  TD&H Engineering, 303 E. 2nd Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202. Prospective bidders shall make all requests for clarifications to Harlan Engberg, TD&H Engineering, in writing to harlan.engberg@tdhengineering.com .  No verbal clarifications will be made.
