2027-2031 Airport Property Farm Land Lease

The City of Albert Lea is seeking sealed bids for the rental of tillable acres at the Albert Lea Municipal Airport. Bids will be publicly opened at the City Clerk's office located at the City Center, 221 E. Clark Street, Albert Lea, Minnesota, 56007, until 3:00 PM on September 8, 2026. The lease will cover approximately 55.6 acres of land, with certain areas limited to low height crops such as alfalfa hay and soybeans. The lease period will be five years, starting from April 1, 2027, and ending on December 31, 2031.For further information regarding the property, interested parties should contact the City Engineer at 507-377-4325.The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept any bid deemed most favorable to the interests of the City.
