Guardian Construction Management Services, Incorporated, acting as Construction Manager for Homes Build Hope, will receive separate sealed bids at the Homes Build Hope office, 218 South Maple Avenue, Suite 100, Greensburg, Pennsylvania 15601, until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, September 18, 2026. At that time and place, bids will be publicly opened and read for the project located at 712 Reynolds Street, Youngwood, Pennsylvania. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough will be held promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the project site. Attendance is required for bidders to observe existing conditions for accurate pricing.Separate bids will be received for various bid packages including Demolition, Sitework, Concrete, Framing, and more. Specific requirements for each bid package are included in the bid documents. Construction is expected to begin in October 2026 and last approximately eight months. Requests for information should be emailed to astone-henderson@gcmsi.com and must be received no later than Tuesday, September 8, 2026.This project is funded in whole or part with federal funds, and compliance with Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements is mandatory. Contractors are encouraged to solicit proposals from Minority, Women, and Section 3 Business Enterprises. Bidders must comply with Westmoreland County's Section 3 Plan included in the bid documents.
