All-Agency RFP for hazardous and non-hazardous waste management

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA” or “Authority”) hereby issues this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for the performance of hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal and disposal services on behalf of itself and its affiliates and subsidiaries as further described in the attached Statements of Work (“SOW(s)”). The MTA’s subsidiary and affiliate Agencies to which this RFP pertains are the New York City Transit Authority (“NYCT”), MTA Bus Company (“MTA Bus”), Long Island Railroad Company (“LIRR”), Metro-North Commuter Railroad Company (“MNR”) and Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (“TBTA”). Each SOW identifies the applicable MTA Agency. The MTA is seeking technical and cost Proposals to provide the Work as set forth in the RFP. The Term of the Contract(s) awarded resulting from this RFP will be five (5) years plus two (2), two-year extension options to be exercised at the sole discretion of the MTA.
