Planning/EMA ADA Accessibility Upgrades, Electrical and Plumbing Renovations

The Snyder County Commissioners are seeking sealed bids for the project involving planning and renovations to enhance ADA accessibility, as well as electrical and plumbing upgrades at 10 W Main Street, Middleburg, PA 17842. Bidders must submit one original and one copy of their bid to the Snyder County Commissioner's Office by 3 P.M. on September 4, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened at the Snyder County Commissioners' Meeting on September 8, 2026, at 9:30 A.M., with the intention to award contracts on September 15, 2026.A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the project site located at 10 South Main Street, Middleburg, PA 17842.Bidders must provide a certified check or bank draft made out to Snyder County Commissioners, or a bid bond executed by an acceptable surety, equal to 10% of the total bid amount. Additionally, a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit must accompany the bid. Compliance with Equal Employment requirements and specific goals for female and minority participation is mandatory for contracts exceeding $10,000.Electronic contract documents, including drawings and project manuals, are available at no cost to prime bidders from Marotta Main Architects. Physical copies can be obtained by depositing $50.00 with Marotta Main Architects at 700 North Fourth Street, Sunbury, PA 17801 for each set.Bidders must also submit evidence of outreach to minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns, along with their bids. The Snyder County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to negotiate contract amounts as necessary.
