Montgomery County (Ohio) is requesting bids for PP-2026-0052 - Jail Detention & MEP Upgrades Project. All submittals are due before 1:30 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $8,340,000.00.  The Montgomery County Jail Detention and MEP Upgrade project scope of work contains, but is not limited to: Engineering:Replacement of AHU’s 2,4,5,7 & 8 & associated piping systemsEnvironmental controls conversion from pneumatic to DDC & integration into the jail’s environmental controls systemElectrical distribution upgradesDetention lighting replacementsWater control system updatesLow voltage security and communication systems updates Architectural:Reconfiguration of existing cells into functional medical exam rooms, mental health treatment rooms, and counseling roomsInstallation of detention grade furnishingsModification of existing cell doors to integrate food portsRetrofitting stainless steel shower inserts & seamless coatingsInstallation of anti-jump netting on second floor balconies & stair sections Please refer to the project plans and specifications for specific & technical details about the scope of work for this project.
