Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System Project

The City of Soledad (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified Selected Proposers to assist the City in the evaluation, recommendation, furnishing, installation, integration, configuration, testing, commissioning, and support of a complete turnkey Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system (“Project”) and its related products, software, and services. The Project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of approximately 3,500 existing water meters with smart metering technology, implementation of an AMI communications network, integration with the City's existing Customer Information System (CIS) and billing software, deployment of a City and customer web portal, staff training, warranty services, and all other work necessary to provide a fully operational AMI solution.
