Dual and Concurrent Enrollment Platform Solution RFP

25/26-146MC Request for Proposal is issued by the State University of New York on behalf of the State University of New York at Stony Brook to solicit proposals for dual and concurrent enrollment platform solution for the Accelerated College Education department to the State University of New York at Stony Brook.  Accelerated College Education (ACE) is looking for a comprehensive, cloud-based software solution designed to support the management of the ACE dual enrollment program.  We are looking for a vendor capable of delivering a secure, accessible, and user-friendly platform that enhances overall experience for our partner high schools, administrative staff, and students.  The University offers an expanding portfolio of dual enrollment opportunities that require efficient, compliant, and scalable software to manage growing administrative complexity. The ideal solution will streamline operations for students, parents/guardians, high school personnel, and college administrators, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Through ACE, State Univeristy of New York at Stony Brook currently partners with 85 high schools, and offers 72 SBU courses to high-school students, taught by 350 affiliate high school instructors (“ACE instructors”). Our goals are to grow ACE enrollment 30% each year for the next several years and to prepare and apply for specialized accreditation through the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).   Currently, the processes related to student registration and data management are highly manual, and there are significant limits to potential for program growth and improvement to meet best practices and follow accreditation standards due to 1) the administrative burden to enroll students in university systems and 2) limits of software systems and tools that are currently available/in use. Improving the user experience makes it easier and more appealing for students and directly supports efforts to grow ACE enrollment and attract students to university, which supports ACE as a pipeline to campus.  A new system solution must provide robust tools for student registration and payment, faculty credentialing, assessment tracking, and inter-institutional coordination.  ACE is looking for a new solution to be fully implemented by the start of the Fall 2027 ACE registration period. Seamless integration with PeopleSoft is required.  The selected software should provide the following core capabilities:  access and accessiblity, courses and sections, registration and communications, payment processing, data warehouse and reporting, tracking adherence to quality standards, implementation and support, academic planning and pathways and technology architecture.
