Renovation and Upgrade to JFK Natatorium at Lincoln Middle School

The Kearny Board of Education is seeking sealed bid proposals for the renovation and upgrade of the JFK Natatorium located at Lincoln Middle School, 121 Beech Street, Kearny, New Jersey. The work includes all tasks necessary as per the Drawings and Project Manuals dated March 6, 2026, prepared by A&J Consulting Engineers, P.C. Bids will be received as a Single Lump Sum by the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary at the Board offices at 172 Midland Avenue, Kearny, New Jersey at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the submission deadline. It is important to note that neither the Kearny Board of Education nor the Architect will be responsible for bids that are mailed or misdirected. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and attendance is strongly encouraged to understand the scope of work. Prospective bidders may arrange follow-up site visits with the District prior to bid submission. The Kearny Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid meets all requirements. Bidding documents can be examined at the Architect's Office during normal hours. Complete sets of documents will be provided via FTP Site at no cost. Printed bid sets are available for a fee of $300. Bids must be submitted on the provided proposal forms and accompanied by a bid guarantee of 10% of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000. Bidders must comply with New Jersey public school contract laws and submit necessary affidavits regarding their qualifications and registration with the Department of Labor.
