2026 Fall Tree Planting

The Township of Montclair is inviting sealed bid proposals for the 2026 Fall Tree Planting project. Proposals will be accepted until 3:00 pm on September 2, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building. The work is expected to commence around October 25, 2026, and must be completed within 45 working days, excluding inclement weather. The Township reserves the right to modify these dates at its discretion.Specifications for the project can be obtained by emailing purchasing@montclairnjusa.org. For any questions or further information, interested parties can contact the Township at (973) 509-4983 or (973) 509-4982, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.The Township is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide the specified goods and services, adhering to the specifications or approved equivalents. The Township reserves the right to award the contract to one or more individuals or firms and to consider proposals for sixty days after receipt. They also reserve the right to waive any informalities and to accept the proposal that is most favorable to the Township's interests, in accordance with specifications and applicable regulations.Vendors must comply with relevant New Jersey statutes and regulations. This notice will also be published in the Star Ledger and posted on the Township of Montclair's website.
