DuBois Green Light-Go Traffic Signal Upgrades

The City of DuBois is seeking bids for the DuBois Green Light-Go Traffic Signal Upgrades project, which includes work at two intersections: Brady Street (SR 0219) and Dixon Avenue/Service Road (Part A), and Liberty Boulevard (SR 0219) and Beaver Drive (Part B). Bids will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at DuBois City Hall, located at 16 W. Scribner Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801. All bid proposals must be clearly marked with the project title. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the specified time.Copies of the bidding documents can be obtained from Trans Associates Engineering Consultants, Inc. at 4955 Steubenville Pike, Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. A non-refundable payment of $50.00 is required for each set of plans and specifications. Digital copies can be requested at no charge, and requests should be sent to Cliff Eich at eichc@transassociates.com.Bidders must submit a certified check or bank draft made payable to the City of DuBois, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, amounting to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid. All bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis. The City of DuBois reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process. Bidders are required to be pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and must provide proof of this qualification with their bid. Compliance with all state and federal laws regarding discrimination in hiring and employment opportunities is mandatory. Pennsylvania prevailing minimum wage rates will apply. Bids may be held by the City of DuBois for up to forty-five (45) days following the bid opening for review and qualification investigations before awarding the contract.
