Professional Surveying and Mapping Services

Dane County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide services for the Professional Surveying and Mapping Services to provide on-call surveying services for the Department of Waste + Renewables (W+R) facilities. Services may include, but are not limited to, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, certified survey maps (CSMs), plats of survey, legal descriptions, construction staking, as-built surveys, benchmark and control point establishment, aerial drone surveying, and other professional surveying services required to support landfill operations, environmental compliance, infrastructure improvements, and site development projects. Interested proposers should have demonstrated experience in providing professional land surveying services for municipal, environmental, civil infrastructure, or similar projects. Experience supporting active landfill operations, utility infrastructure, construction projects, environmental monitoring, and aerial surveying technologies is desirable. Firms must demonstrate the ability to respond to both scheduled and time-sensitive assignments, coordinate effectively with County staff, consultants, contractors, and perform work while minimizing disruption to ongoing facility operations. A pre-proposal site meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 10:00 am at 7102 Maahic Way, Madison, WI (Landfill Job Trailer), and all questions must be submitted by Friday, September 4, 2026. Proposals are due by Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm.
