Highway 12 Water Line Replacement Phase 2

The EAST MONTGOMERY UTILITY DISTRICT is seeking bids for Contract 126, which involves the replacement of the Highway 12 water line in Phase 2. This contract includes the installation of approximately 56,800 linear feet of 8” and 6” PVC water main along with all necessary appurtenances to ensure a complete line installation according to the provided plans and specifications. The construction period is set for 420 calendar days.There will be no pre-bid meeting mentioned in the notice. However, any person with a disability requiring special accommodation must contact the EAST MONTGOMERY UTILITY DISTRICT at least 7 days prior to the bid opening.Bidders are required to obtain the bid documents from JAMES C. HAILEY & COMPANY, Consulting Engineers, located at 360 Cool Springs Boulevard, Suite 100, Franklin, TN 37067-7216. A non-refundable payment of $50.00 is required for the bid documents, which are non-transferable. Paper copies of the plans and specifications can be obtained for a non-refundable payment of $350.00 per set.For additional details, bidders should check the official plan holders list maintained by JAMES C. HAILEY & COMPANY and periodically check for any addenda posted on www.jchengr.com.All bids must include a bid bond or certified check for 5% of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will need to provide a performance bond and must be licensed as a contractor with the EAST MONTGOMERY UTILITY DISTRICT before commencing work. Bids cannot be withdrawn within 90 days after the scheduled receipt time. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids.
