In general, the major work items include:Furnish and install new level 2, dual port EV chargers on the 5th floor of the City Hall Parking Garagealong with necessary electrical conduit and components to energize these chargers and allow for futureexpansion.The Contractor must comply with the requirements of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, 41USC 8301 note, and all applicable rules and notices, as may be amended, if applicable to the Grantee’sinfrastructure project. Persuant to HUD’s Notice, “Public Interest Phased Implementation Waiver for FY2022 and 2023 of Build America, Buy America Provisions as Applied to Recipients of HUD FederalFinancial Assistance” (88 FR 17001), any funds obligated by HUD on or after the applicable listedeffective dates, are subject to BABA requirements, unless excepted by a waiver.The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 setting forth the requirementsfor the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply withcertain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.A mandatory pre-bid site walk will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 8:00 AM.
