Lime Deposit Removal

The City of Hallandale Beach (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors to furnish a complete, turnkey residuals management program for the City's Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The Work consists of the collection, handling, transportation, processing, dewatering, drying, and/or disposal of water treatment residuals generated by the City's lime softening process. This Contract is intended to establish performance requirements rather than prescribe a specific process or technology. Except where specifically identified in the Contract Documents, the City does not require a particular dewatering, hauling, or processing methodology. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for selecting the means, methods, equipment, sequencing, staffing, and operational approach necessary to satisfy the performance requirements while maintaining uninterrupted operation of the Water Treatment Plant.
