The work of this single bid project includes a partial renovation (63,509 GSF) of Tuttle North as a permanent surge for specific athletic programs which will enable future renovations in Tuttle South. This project will add a new multipurpose turf field, renovate two existing gyms, and add new locker rooms and associated restrooms in Tuttle North. Updates to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems in the renovated areas are also included. Hazardous materials abatement is included in the work. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) has been adopted for this project. This agreement openly promotes bidding from all contractors – union and non-union. The low bidder must execute and abide by the terms of the project-specific Project Labor Agreement. This Project Labor Agreement also impacts acceptable staffing patterns for the project. The PLA should be read in its entirety by all potential bidders prior to submitting a Proposal.
