2026 Temporary Fence Installation around Building 59 at the Finger Lakes DDSOO Newark Campus in Wayne County-NYS Small Business

OPWDD’s Contract Management Unit for Finger Lakes DDSOO is soliciting quotes from responsible and *qualified MWBE, SDVOB or NYS small business contractors to provide and install a temporary fence around Building 59 at the Finger Lakes DDSOO at 703 E Maple Avenue in Newark, NY in Wayne County. Please note: 2026 Temporary Fence Installation around Building 59 at the Finger Lakes DDSOO Newark Campus is one procurement that has two ads posted: one representing opportunity type MWBE or SDVOB Discretionary between$50k - $1.5M, and the other for opportunity type NYS Small Business or Recycled Tech Discretionary between $50k - $500k. The description and bid documents for this procurement are exactly the same for each posting other than the difference in opportunity type. Only one award will be issued dependent upon the vendor’s status as MWBE/SDVOB or NYS Small Business.*Pursuant to its discretionary authority under Article 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law and State Finance Law section 160(8) –Empire State Development Corporation Certified Minority or Woman Owned Business (MWBE), New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), or New YorkState Small Businesses only. State Finance Law 160 (8) defines the terms “small business concern” or “small business” as meaning a business which is resident in New York state, independently owned and operated, not dominant in its field, and employs one hundred or less persons. OPWDD intends to award to a qualifying contractor providing the lowest cost quote. If applicable, please provide a copy of your firm’s MWBE or SDVOB certification when submitting a quote. References, experience, and applicable insurances are required. Prevailing wage will apply. Contractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and submit their Certificate of Contractor Registration at the time of the quote submission for any Article 8 project . A mandatory site visit has been scheduled for 10:00am, August 19, 2026. Contractors must attend to have their quote considered. Quotes must be received no later than 2:00pm September 2nd, 2026.
