CapMetro will be issuing a solicitation package complete with the purchase description, contract terms, and instructions for IFB 816199 Hybrid Bus Inspection Services. CapMetro seeks bids from qualified and experienced firms to provide vehicle build documentation, reporting, meeting participation, and in-plant quality assurance services for CapMetro’s Gillig hybrid bus build.Contractor shall provide a team of experienced and qualified personnel to perform the services described herein. Personnel qualifications shall include expertise in vehicle maintenance, vehicle production, manufacturing processes, high-energy electrical storage systems, and components associated with hybrid vehicles, battery electric propulsion systems, and production-line bus inspections. Personnel shall also possess a thorough understanding of the requirements set forth in:• Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS)• Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)• 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)• 49 CFR Part 663.37 Pre-Award and Post-Delivery Audits of Rolling Stock Purchase• 49 CFR 665 Bus Testing, • 49 CFR Part 38, Accessibility Requirements for Transportation Vehicles
