CS 2027-001  NYS Office of State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes for removal of 1 PBS Underground Tank located at Caleb Smith State Park. Please  note dtailed scope of work: Items #1 through #6 described below in addition to the signed and sealed drawings (Sheets 1-8) titled Caleb Smith State Park PBS Tank Removal and Propane Tank Installation provide a detailed scope of work requested for this project.Item 1 – Furnish and Install New 1,000-Gallon Propane TankIncludes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to provide a completeoperational propane tank installation, including but not limited to: New 1,000-gallon propane tank, delivery and unloading, excavation and disposal of approximately 60 CY of soil, installation of pea gravel bedding, concrete pad, reinforcing steel, tank placement and anchorage, backfill and grading, testing, startup, and commissioningItem 2 – Remove Existing Oil Tank SystemIncludes all labor, equipment, transportation, disposal, and incidentals necessary to: Remove existing oil tank, oil piping,and associated valves and appurtenances. Dispose of materials in accordance with applicable regulationsItem 3 – Furnish and Install New Burner Conversion SystemIncludes furnishing all labor and materials necessary for a complete propane conversion, including: New burner, gaspiping, valves, regulators, controls, connections, testing and startupItem 4 – Furnish and Install Construction FenceIncludes furnishing and installing approximately 152 LF of temporary construction fence, maintenance throughoutconstruction, relocation as required, and removal upon project completion.Item 5 – Furnish and Install Concrete Tank PadIncludes all labor and materials necessary to construct the propane tank foundation, including: Concrete, reinforcing steel, formwork, placement and finishingItem 6 – Furnish and Install Site RestorationIncludes furnishing all labor and materials necessary to restore disturbed areas, including: Estimated 120 LF silt fenceinstallation, maintenance, and removal. Estimated 20 CY topsoil and 270 SY grass seed, landscaping around the propane tank dome, final grading and cleanup,Item 7 – Furnish and Install Chimney Flue Liner   Responses to the RFQ must be filled out electronically and email no later than 3:00pm on 8/31/2026.
