Prescribed Goat Grazing Services for MDMA

***THIS IS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Fax responses and non-electronic responses will NOT be accepted. All responses must be submitted on-line through the SWIFT Supplier Portal before the Event Due Date and Time. Late responses will not be accepted. PURPOSE: The purpose for this Solicitation (RFP) is to receive responses and award contract(s) with a Contractor to provide prescribed rotational goat grazing services for the Minnesota Department of Military Affairs at the Arden Hills Army Training Site (AHATS). The native plant restoration services must treat invasive vegetation and aid restoration of a functional oak savannah habitat within AHATS. CONTRACT VALUE: The estimated total dollar value of the contract for one year is $20,000 to $25,000. However, this shall not be construed as either the minimum or maximum amount. It shall also be understood and accepted by the responder that any quantities shown in this solicitation are estimated quantities only and impose no obligation upon the State either minimum or maximum. CONTRACT PERIOD: The term of this contract is anticipated to be from October 1, 2026, through May 31, 2029, with the option to extend up to an additional 28 months in increments determined by the State. PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING: A pre-proposal site visit will take place on August 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. CT. Attendance is mandatory. Responders must attend a pre-proposal site visit prior to submitting their response.
