Trash/Recyclables Collection Bid

The Borough of Auburn is seeking sealed proposals for the collection and disposal of trash and recyclable items for a period of thirty-six months, starting from January 1, 2027, and ending on December 31, 2029. Interested bidders can obtain bid forms and specifications by contacting the secretary at 570-754-7003, Ext.10 or via email at auburnboro@yahoo.com. A bid bond amounting to 10% of the maximum bid is required to accompany the proposal. Proposals must be submitted to the Auburn Borough Secretary-Treasurer at 451 Pearson Street, P.O. Box 89, Auburn, Pennsylvania 17922. Bids should be placed in a sealed envelope labeled "Trash/Recyclables Collection Bid" and must be received by 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. The opening of the bids will take place at the Auburn Borough Council meeting on the same day at 7:00 P.M. in the Auburn Community Center located at 451 Pearson Street, Auburn, PA 17922. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids or portions thereof. The Borough consists of approximately 315 households.
