Formal Request for Offer for Annual Contract for Ammunition for San Antonio Police Department (SAPD)

The City of San Antonio (City) is requesting offers for training and service ammunition, specialtyammunition and substitute ammunition in accordance with the specifications listed herein. The San AntonioPolice Department (SAPD) Labor Relations Committee has approved substitute ammunition for specificammunition. Substitute ammunition will only be acceptable by the CITY if standard ammunition is not availableduring nationwide ammunition shortages by the time required by SAPD. Vendor shall obtain CITY designeeapproval prior to delivery of substitute ammunition items. This ammunition will be utilized by the SAPD PatrolOfficers, and other law enforcement officers in the following units: Narcotics, Fusion Center, ExecutiveProtection, Repeat Offenders, SWAT, Aviation, Fire, Arson, and Parks.
