Electronically submitted bids, in single copy, for PWSC Housing Fuel Tank Upgrade, will be received by the University of Alaska Anchorage, Facilities Planning and Construction until September 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM on Bid Express at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via Zoom Submit electronic bids via Bid Express https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/64480/home. Scope of Work:Bid Item 1: All work required to remove and dispose of three below grade fuel tanks, furnish and install three new above grade fuel tanks, associated fuel piping, and site work, in accordance with the contract documents. This excludes work associated with contaminated soil removal and disposal as described in Bid Item 2Bid Item 2: All work related to contaminated soil removal, handling, transportation, final disposal, and feesA pre-bid conference followed by an onsite walk through via Zoom or in-person will take place on August 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM, at the PWSC Maintenance Shop at 153 Pioneer Ave, Valdez, AK 99686.  Zoom Information Pre-Bid & Bid-Opening:                                                                         Meeting ID: 236 903 8416                                                                                                            Passcode: 345467                                                                                                            All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond provided by a surety authorized to do business in the State of Alaska on a form provided herein, or a cashier’s check.  Bid security must be in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid.Questions regarding this IFB shall be directed, in writing, to UAA Facilities Planning & Construction Bid Express or emailed to uaa_fpc@alaska.edu for action, include bid number and project name in email subject line.Complete bidding documents for this project are available in electronic form.  They may be viewed online and downloaded without charge and without deposit from Bid Express.Bidders must register through the web site to be notified of addenda.  Bid documents are not available from the Architect or the Owner, but they may be obtained from most plan rooms and reprographic firms for a fee.  Printed copies may be ordered from reprographic companies through the website or by contacting a reprographer directly. Downloaded files may be printed on the plan holder’s equipment.  Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs.
